韦海研究员致力于以线虫和哺乳动物为模型进行stress response,lipotoxicity,cellular toxicity与aging发面的研究,研究方向主要包括以下方面:1). caspase如何参与调控脂毒性胁迫和慢性UV辐射胁迫导致的衰老病变机制。 2). 遗传筛选并鉴定调控慢性UV辐射胁迫损伤的关键响应因子及其机理研究。3). 遗传筛选并鉴定调控慢性UV辐射胁迫损伤的关键响应因子及其机理研究;4). 筛选并鉴定缓解细胞毒性蛋白(i.e. Aβ, α-Syn, poly-Q)的关键调节因子及其机理研究。韦海研究员曾获得2023年度美国西南医学中心Alfred & Mabel Gilman Memorial Excellence Scientific Award。此外,课题组还获得国家海外优秀青年基金,上海白玉兰青年人才项目,中国科学院“BR”项目的资助和支持。
